Standard Operating Procedures, and Process Flow Diagrams

Major Areas of Responsibility

Prepare concept drawings in support of the Sales Department.
Ensure that detailed electrical design drawings and specifications are developed using
EPLAN or Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical tools
Prepare straightforward 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of electrical infrastructure
Ensure consultation with colleagues/customers to design, layout or detail components and systems to resolve design or other problems
Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with the company quality system.
Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.
Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
Ensuring quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into design and procedures, design specifications and ISO standards are adhered to.
Design electrical panels and equipment using EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
Design wire routing and termination schedules in EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical
Working knowledge of electrical components
Compiling of electrical Bills of Materials
Assisting departments with part identification
Solid works, REVIT experience an added benefit
